What types of services does Bay Area Sonic Solutions provide?
We provide exploratory ultrasound device characterization services, rooted in the latest ultrasound characterization guidance provided by international standards.
What types of ultrasound devices does Bay Area Sonic Solutions provide exploratory measurements for?
With our current capabilities, we are able to support a wide variety of ultrasonic devices such as imaging, elastography, lithotripsy, HIFU, HITU, histotripsy, neuromodulation, BCI, and some industrial applications. We can support ultrasonic devices with center frequencies ranging from ~100kHz to 20MHz. The maximum peak positive pressure or peak negative pressures should not exceed 10MPa, and the peak to peak pressure should not exceed 15MPa in the region of measurement interest. In general, if we can put your device in a water bath, carry it up the stairs, and through a standard door frame, we can provide exploratory measurements.
Why hire Bay Area Sonic Solutions instead of doing it in-house?
We allow team’s to accelerate and optimize their ultrasound measurement workflows to save test time, minimize risk of damaging expensive hydrophones, and ensure high quality data are being collected for at early staged of device development. With our services you get all raw data and the hydrophone calibration to allow your teams to conduct additional analyses outside of the summary parameter report.
